    Wuying Miao Village, located deep down in Damiao Mountain, consists of 140 households with over 600 residents, among which 100 belong to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region while the remaining 40 belong to Guizhou Province. Due to its remoteness and lack of arable land on the mountain, poverty alleviation work has been arduous.     The Shibadong Village in the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province struggled for generations with isolation and poverty.     At an altitude of 3,200 meters, there once remained only three households in Mazu Village, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
