The White Paper Gender Equality and Women’s Development in China will be released by the State Council Information Office on August 24th, 2005 .

Issues on the Tenth Anniversary Commemoration of the Forth World Conference on Women and the Chinese government efforts on promoting gender equality and optimizing environment for women’s development and this White Paper will be introduced by Mme. Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and President of the All-China Women’s Federation.
