背 景

   Background 

进入21世纪以来，经济一体化和全球化已是世界经济发展的必然趋势，相互交流、促进合作已成为世界各国各地区共谋发展之路，中国需要走向世界，世界需要了解中国。

1972年中国与马达加斯加共和国建交以来，两国关系发展顺利，高层往来频繁，经贸合作加强。马达加斯加总统拉瓦卢马纳纳、议长拉依尼里库和参议长拉杰米松，国防部长贝哈贾纳少将等先后多次到华访问，江泽民主席、温家宝总理、唐家璇外长、全国政协副主席李蒙等国家领导人相继对马进行了访问。建交以来，中马经贸关系和经济技术合作进展顺利。两国先后签署经济技术合作协定、促进和相互保护投资协定、关于成立经济贸易混合委员会的协定、中华人民共和国政府派遣医疗队赴马达加斯加工作的议定书等。两国在经济、贸易、文化教育、医疗卫生、矿产资源开发、旅游、金融投资、地方政府交往等领域展开全面的交流与合作。2006年双边贸易额2.4689亿美元，同比增长25.6%，其中我出口2.2257亿美元，进口2432万美元。2007年1-6月，双边贸易额1.7176亿美元，同比增长25.7%，其中中方出口1.6287亿美元，进口889万美元。

中国向马达加斯加出口的主要产品：纺织品、机电产品、服装、鞋类、自行车、电视机、塑料制品。

中国向马达加斯加进口的主要产品：原木，矿石，铬矿、石墨、铝钒土、云母、镍、硅、金、铁、铜等。

   Background  

With the advent of 21st Century, economic integration and globalization has become the inevitable tendency of global economic development. It is our common ground that to enhance communication and intensify cooperation is vital to the development of all the countries in the world. China need to walk up to the world and world need to know more about China.

The diplomatic ties between our two countries, the Republic of Madagascar and People’s Republic of China, has developed smoothly and steadfastly, with the bilateral economic and trade cooperation being pushed forward even further. The president of Madagascar His Excellency, Marc Ravalomanana , President Speaker Mr. Jean Lahiniriko, Senate President Mr. Guy Rajemison Rakotomaharo had paid several visits to China, while, the president pf China Jiang zemin, premier Wen, Foreign Minister Mr. Tangjiaxuan, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Mr. Limeng and other governmental officials also paid official visits to Madagascar respectively. Since the diplomatic ties, the bilateral cooperation’s on economy, trade, technology have been conducted smoothly. The two countries have signed agreement for cooperation on economy and technology, agreement on enhancing and protecting investment and agreement on forming a committee on economy and trade. China provide Madagascar with scholarship to students. Up to now, there are eleven overseas students from Madagascar in China. We’ve also signed the < Protocol on Government of People’s Republic of China Sending Medical Team to Madagascar>. There are all together four Medical Service Stations, with a staff of thirty. Additionally, the military cooperation is also functioning smoothly. Minister of Defense of Madagascar, General Petera Behajaina once paid a visit to China. By the year of 2006, the bilateral trade volume hit 246.89 millions USD, with a year-on-year increase of 25.6%, among which, the export of China accounts for 222.57 millions USD, and the import accounts for 24.32 millions USD. And from January to June in 2007, the bilateral trade volume reached 171.76 millions USD, with a year-on-year increase of 25.7%, among which, the export of China accounts for 162.87 millions USD, and the import accounts for 8.89 millions USD. The products which we export to Madagascar include textiles, mechanical and electrical products, clothes, shoes, bicycles, television sets, plastic products etc., and we import log and ore etc.
