Yantai Export Processing Zone (YTEPZ) is one of the first 15 export processing zones approved by the State Council. It is a very special enclosed area which is supervised by the Customs and carries out a managing system of "Within the boundary but out of Customs". To invest in YTEPZ, investors can enjoy the most preferential policy, the most standard management and the most convenient and efficient service.
YTEPZ lies in the northern part of Yantai city, and faces Japan, Korea across the sea. It is adjacent Yantai Railway Station to the south and joins the ocean shipping commodities dispersed expressway in the north, to its east is Yantai Harbour and to its west is the urban residential area. Its geographical position is advanced, its transportation is convenient, its hinterland is broad and its development potentiality is great.
The total construction area of YTEPZ is 4.17 m2 , in which the initial zone covers 3 km2.
With the development of several years, YTEPZ has been entirely constructed. At present, the infrastructure construction has been completed, standard workshops of 120, 000 m2 and bonded warehouses of 40,000 m2 have been built up. Up to now, owning perfect investment environment and conditions, YTEPZ has attracted investors both from foreign countries and regions such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sweden, USA, Canada, etc. and from the domestic to invest and operate in the zone.
The main function of YTEPZ is to arrange for the export processing enterprises and the relative service enterprises of storage and transportation.
