Project Details |
1. The Ministry of Finance of the People''s Republic of China has received an ODA Loan from JAPAN BANK FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION (hereinafter referred to as JBIC), in the amount of JPY 14,144,000,000 toward the cost of Taiyuan Environmental Improvement Project, and intends to apply the proceeds of the loan to payments under the contracts for goods. Disbursement of an ODA Loan by JBIC will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Loan Agreement, including the disbursement procedures and the Guidelines for Procurement under JBIC ODA Loans.
2. CMC International Tendering Co. (hereinafter referred to as CITC) is authorized to invite sealed bids from eligible bidders from eligible source countries for the supply of the goods and services listed below. According to the Loan Agreement, the eligible source countries are all countries and areas.
3. The bidders must have engaged in successfully organizing supply of complete sets of equipment for sewage treatment plants in the last 5 years. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the office of CITC indicated below. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder at the office room No. 2002B on the 20th floor of CITC upon nonrefundable payment of RMB3,500 or US$420 for each package between 9:00 and 11:00 am (Beijing Time) from August 20 to 28, 2003 (Except public holidays).
4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than three percent (3%) of its Bid Price, and must be delivered in person to Yinlong Hotel, 6 East Jihu Road, Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China at or before 1 l:00 am (Beijing Time) on September 25, 2003.
5. Bids will be opened in public at 11:00 am (Beijing Time) on September 25, 2003 at Yinlong Hotel, 6 East Jihu Road, Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. The bidders'' representatives will choose to attend the event.
6. Neither CITC nor the Employer will be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids. |
