Yaocun Town Auto Parts Industrial Park is 13km far from the northern urban area, consisting of two areas: the auto parts industrial park composed of such village enterprises of Shijiahe, Dingjiao, Fengjiakou, Shangtao and Liujiagang within the township scope, and the new auto parts industrial area planned by Anyang Planning and Design Institute in the eastern town area with a total area of 120.27 hectare, which can hold hundreds of enterprises. At present, 10 enterprises have entered the new zone.

The auto parts industrial park is advantageous regarding the scale. Now there are more than 100 such enterprises with 9000 plus employees and the casting capability has reached to 200000 tons each year. The products include front and rear axle assembly, transmission assembly, brake assembly, track and saddle assembly and chassis and so on, altogether more than 1000 kinds of parts. The sales network has covered 28 provinces or municipalities in China with the market share reaching to 30-40%. By late 2003, the auto parts enterprises have realized the output value of 495 million Yuan, with profits of 18.99 million Yuan and tax of 17.24 million Yuan. There are 15 enterprises above the quote, and 8 of them have gained annual profits of more than 10 million Yuan in each year, and one of 100 million Yuan.

The auto parts park is advantageous regarding the location. It is bounded by Shanxi Province on the west, rich in coal, 5km far from Linzhou Steel Company with the annual output of 1 million tons, 50km far from Jingguan Railway and Jingzhu Expressway with the roads crossing through this town.

This park is supplied with sufficient power and water, for there is one 110V and three 35000KV transformation stations and a southern transmission of northern water works which can meet the water demands of 40000 people.

On the new stage of this new century, we will deepen the reforms and expand the opening up, optimize the investment environment, improve service quality and attract more people to invest on this hot land with the favorable geographical location, and complete infrastructure.
