China's actual foreign direct investment (FDI) is expected to reach 60.3 bln usd in 2006, almost flat with the previous year, the official China Securities Journal reported, citing figures from the Ministry of Commerce.
In 2005, China attracted foreign direct investment of 60.33 bln usd, down 0.5 pct from 2004.
China's FDI figure excludes foreign funds directly invested in the financial sector.
China's actual FDI for the January-November period was up 2.14 pct year-on-year at 54.26 bln usd, the Ministry of Commerce said earlier this month.
State television has previously said FDI is likely to reach 72.4 bln usd for the full year but that figure is widely seen as including investments in the financial sector.
