Intentions	According to the principle of mutual benefit, the investor should have strong economic strength, relevant experiences and techniques on the production of suspension system, and export channels preferred. A joint venture can be set up with 80% foreign shares and 20% domestic shares both in form of cash or equipment; or a cooperation company can be established in the form of technological cooperation.
Potentials for Development	At present, Beijing Modern Automobile Production Project has been put into production approved by the state. However, its suspension system is a blank of motor industry in Beijing. With the development of automobile industry in China, this project has a promising market perspective. This enterprise is a subsidiary special spring production plant of Beijing Motor Group, and has strong technological bases. At present, the plant covers an area of 80000m2, and 20000m2 is for this project. The workshop is around 6000m2. The water supply ability in the plant is 40m3/h, and a water recycle facility has been established and can reach the environment protection requirements.

Market	At present, the output of cars has increased year by year. In the year of 2002, the car output of our country broke through one million for the first time. The market status of car made-in-China has been rapidly enhanced, and ranked the 6th or 7th in the international market. It is predicted that by the year of 2003, the economic increase rate will reach 8%, and the citizen need for cars will keep high increase trends. In the year of 2003, the demand in private cars will continue to increase, and its portion in the total demand will increase by 5 or 6 percentage points. Such a trend will remain unchanged in the coming years. As the auxiliary equipments of cars, the market demand of the automotive suspension systems will make simultaneous increase with the high-speed increase of car consumption.

	The factory was established in 1957 with first class design capability of plate spring and is the main special production base of light motor armor plate springs with annual production ability of 30000 tons. The factory is also a member factory of China Automobile Association, the Agriculture Vehicle Branch of China Agriculture Mechanism Industry Association and the backbone member of China Automobile Armor Plate Spring Association. After a large-scale technique reform, the factory has possessed excellent plate spring production shops and lines, and other production equipments with national advanced industry level. The factory has also established rigorous and scientific quality system and acquired the international quality certificates of ISO9001 and UKAS.
