Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa yesterday met a delegation led by the Party Committee Secretary of Chongqing, Huang Zhendong, to exchange views on strengthening co-operation between Hong Kong and Chongqing under CEPA.

Both sides discussed areas that have room for co-operation. They also agreed to consider the possibility of organizing a "Chongqing-Hong Kong Week" in Chongqing next year to further promote the co-operation between the two cities and to publicize business opportunities arising from the development of the western region of the mainland.
