This February, bird flu happened in Yaowangshan Mountain of Lhasa and in order to protect the health of people and not let the flu diffuse, on February 16th of 2004 Tibetan Industry and Commerce Bureau remited an announcement about breaking off the trade of live chicken and duck. But from now on Tibet resumes the trade of live chicken and duck and all the units of Tibetan Industry and Commerce Bureau will enhance the supervision and management of live birds and its products.

Tibetan Industry and Commerce Bureau requests that all the managers should cooperate with the units and report the circs in time.
