Xingjiang-Tibet Highroad is considered to be the First Road in the world not only for it is the highest road in the world but there is no road for over 12000 kilometers between Jie Shan Da Ban and Saga. Because of the limited climate and geographical condition, there is only 5 months for the Xingjiang-Tibet Highroad to be under using and half of the year is blocked out for Tibetan Ngari area. So from May 2002, the eighth branch of number 2 armed police began to construct the highroad and only 18 months later Xingjing-Tibet Highroad was coming on. The coming on of the road makes the people of Ngari feel the Living Line's importance and also reduce the time from over 1 month to 15 days for travelling from Xingjiang Ye city to Tibetan Ngari.
