In order to promote trade between China and Thailand, in the afternoon of March 13, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand held the promotion conference of Thai Hom Mali Rice in Carrefour in Kunming.

Thai Minister Of Commerce, Vice Chairman of Yunan provincial PCC and principals of relative departments of Yunnan Province attended the promotion conference. The minister addressed at the open ceremony that China and Thailand had a long-time friendship, in the past years, bilateral trade between the two countries increased with a high speed. Kunming was the important transportation junction connecting China with ASEAN in trade by roadway. Meanwhile, he hoped that Thai Hom Mali Rice would become more and more popular to Kunming People.

In order to enhance the confidence of consumers and importers of Thai Hom Mali Rice, Thailand government recently put forward a criterion of exports of Thai Hom Mali Rice and carried out strict quality supervision before shipping.
