On March 18th the ceremony of the exchange of news reporter certificate was held in Tibet News Publishing Bureau, after that 261 news reporters of 9 newspaper offices will use the new news reporter certificates issued by General News Publishing Office. It is found out that according to the request of General News Publishing Office, Propaganda Department and the Department of National Broadcasting-Film Propaganda, Tibet news reporters have been trained to manage the reporters' work, improve the working quality of Tibetan news reporters' group and build up a system of competence of the workers of news. And all the 345 attendants had taken the examination which was held on July 20, 2003 and the average mark is 96.5, and till August 15, the training had been fully completed and this made a good basic for the exchanging of news reporter certificate. General News Publishing Office requests that the news reporter certificate should be exchanged every five year and should be checked every year.
