As one of the five state-level high-tech parks particularly supported by the Chinese central government, Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park (SHIP) was established in September 1996, which covers an area of 11.5 km2. In 2003, the total industrial output value of SHIP was 89.5 billion RMB, in which the hi-tech output was 86.7 billion RMB, that means SHIP occupying 0.6% of the total Shenzhen land produced 18% of the whole industrial output of Shenzhen, and its value of exportation was 5.2 billion USD. SHIP is becoming a rich soil for business and home for success.
