　　1)Clean power production. Presently, it is the emphase to develop coal washing ,type coal, coal chemical industry, coal bed gas and electric industry.The dry methord and water-saving washing and selection technology will be adopted to develop the coal washing and selecting so as to realize the decreasing of ash and desulfurizing.The materials of fine coal,coking powder and coal mud will be made full use to produce type coal, type coke. 　　2)High-tech industry.It is the emphases to develop the information industry, biological phamary, biological seed-making, new materials,new energy source,integration of machinery and clectronics, especially the information service industry. information infrastructure construction, as well as the development and production of digital electronic information products. A group of high-tech products in the strategic sense such as digit-controlling machine tool, magnetic applied products, software products, breeding of plant cell engineering, special-type metal materials, 1.4-butanediol, electric-spurting motors etc. The construction of Taiyuan Develop Development Zone and Changzhi Development Zone will be continously made well so as to accelerate the development of high-tech industries in the province.

　　3)Characteristic agriculture and processing industry of agricultural pooducts and by-products.The prominence is to develop coarse grain ,dry and fresh fruits, animal husbandry and processing industry of agricultural products and by products. Eight series of products including lower-sugar food,fruit(apples and pears), dried fruits(walnut and jujube),starch feed (corn and tomato), cow and sheep, domestic animals and fowls,edible vinegar and special –type breed and cultivation, will be done well.

　　4)Tourism and relevant industries. To creat famous-brand tourism products, it is the emphases to develop the old brands such as of sacrifice for Originator Tourism, Jin Businessbmen Folk Residences Tourism, the Yellow River Civilization Tourism, Ancient Building Tourism, and Buddhism Culture Tourism. The local tourism characteristics involving natural and ecological scenery in loess plateau and ease vacation will be formed to develop the mountains and forecasts tourism regions including Guancen Mountain, North Wudang mountain, Pang Quan Valley, Wulao Peak, Mang River, Li Mountain, Mian Mountain, Wang mang Mountain Ridge, and Taihang Mountain Valley. It will be strengthened to develop new products of tourism such as Folk Situation Tourism in cave dwellings and countrysides, Sighseeing Agricultural Tourism in Dazhai, Light of Coal Sea Industrial Tourism, and various tourism entertainment projects.
