2006 Wuhan Seed Trade Fair: 15-18 April, 2006

Up to now, Wuhan Seed Trade Fair has owned the greatest influence and the largest scale in Asia-Pacific region. It also integrates with the show of scientific research achievements, trading and communication of seed breeder, producer, retailer, etc. There is also an exposition of all kinds of new high-quality varieties, which have been improved or founded in the recent years.

Since the first Fair held in 1984,the annual Wuhan Fair has developed into a far-reach influential fair. In 2002, there were over 10,000 participants and 3000 companies or business sector including more than 50 foreign famous companies and organizations.

With the opening of Chinese seed market, Chinese Seed industry has developing very fast and is entering into global seed market. Foreign Seed Companies is also penetrating into Chinese Seed Market by setting up sub-company or trade office in China in recent years because Chinese agricultural market is very large and can realize large returns. The Foreign companies mainly came from U.S.A, Japan, Thailand, Israel, India the Netherlands, France, etc. Mr. Neol Mamicpic, the former president of the Asia-Pacific Seed Association (ASPA),said "it is the largest and most successful seed fair in Asia-Pacific region."
