我第一次访问中国是在1993年，当时去了大连，在辽宁师范大学学习了一段时间。我非常珍惜那段回忆，并将其视为我人生中最美好的时光之一。我在那里遇到了优秀的教授，也交到了一辈子的好朋友。在访问大连10多年后，我于2007年再次访问了中国。我为中国发展变化所惊叹，比如北京的一些地方已令我认不出来，变化很大，发展也很快。

The first time I visited China, it was in 1993, when I went to Dalian. And I spent some timein Liaoning Normal University. I really cherish those memories as one of the best periods in my life. I had excellent professors thereand I also got friends for a lifetime.

Next time I visited China, more than 10 yearsafter my visit to Dalian, in 2007, and I was really impressed with the changes in China with the development. For example, I barely recognized some parts of Beijing. Changes were really good and big, and the development was tremendous.
