新闻发布会通知

全国人大常委会办公厅拟于4月24日（星期四）下午4时在人民大会堂台湾厅举行新闻发布会，欢迎中外记者参加。

2008年4月22日至24日，十一届全国人大常委会第二次会议将继续审议残疾人保障法修订草案。鉴于各方面对这部法律案的意见比较一致，全国人大法律委员会建议本次常委会会议表决通过。如获通过，我们将邀请全国人大常委会法工委和中国残联有关负责人就这些法律的有关问题回答记者提问。

请有意参加的中外记者，于4月24日上午11时前向全国人大常委会办公厅新闻局报名并领取新闻发布会请柬和车证。

参会记者凭请柬进人民大会堂东门。记者车辆可凭领取的车证停放在人民大会堂东门停车场。

Notice for Press Conference

April 21, 2008

A Press Conference will be held by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) in Taiwan Hall of the Great Hall of the People at 16:00 p.m, April 24, 2008 (Thursday).

Journalists from China and abroad are all welcome.

The 2nd Session of the 11th NPC Standing Committee from April 22 to 24 will review again the draft amendment to the law on protection of disabled persons.

The NPC Law Committee suggests it be approved through voting by this session, and if the draft is approved, officials from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee and from the China Disabled Persons Federation (CDPF) will be invited to answer questions from the press over the law.

Journalists interested in the press conference may sign up with the Information Bureau of the General Office of the NPC Standing Committee and take invitations and vehicle passes before 11:00 a.m, April 24.

Please show invitations to enter the East Gate of the Great Hall of the People for the press conference, and with the passes, park cars in the parking lot at the East Gate.
