Anders Hansson
Grew up in Sweden
Studied Chinese at Stockholm University and in Hong Kong
Later got a Ph. D. in Chinese history at Harvard University
Employed as Translator at China Pictorial (人民画报) in 1984 and 1985
Later had practical experience in translation when teaching Chinese history and thought at Edinburgh University in Scottland. Most of the teaching was related to ancient China but also included courses in translation of newspaper Chinese
